ROTARACT

ROTARACT CLUB OF ETHIRAJ COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

The Rotaract Club of Ethiraj College for Women is registered with Rotary International District 3230 and was chartered in the year 1995. The journey started then and it is making difference in lives of people. The Rotaract Club of Ethiraj College for Women is sponsored by Rotary Club of Madras Chenna Patna serving the community and changing lives. Rotaract Club of Ethiraj has been declared the “LARGEST WOMEN BASED CLUB” in the year 2007 and 2014. The Academic year 2015-2016 was incredibly good as the Rotaractors successfully completed 125 projects in commemoration with the 125th Birth anniversary of our Founder Thiru. V.L. Ethiraj in covering all four avenues of service- Professional, Club, Community and International Services. The District Rotaract Council appreciated the projects and recognized the Rotaractors with several Awards.

EYE CHECK UP CAMP

On 16-12-2017, the Rotaract Club of Ethiraj College in association with Bohra Eye Hospital organized a one day Eye Check up camp in Karunakaracherri village adopted by our College for villagers. The response was overwhelming from the villagers. Around 110 villagers, most belonging to the age group of 40 to 70 benefited. Besides, 56 spectacles were sponsored by Rotaract Club of Ethiraj for villagers and some even had an emotional outbreak. Yet another benchmark for Rotaract Club of Ethiraj.
